This pergola was crafted of Douglas Fir and cedar using 12″ long bolts (cold connection), screws, Japanese joinery techniques and a bit of extra attention to detail. The tiled bar is made of powder coated steel to resist rust and also tilts up so that the cover can be removed or replaced. I designed it, but had that part outsourced.
